This handsome Miniature Poodle cross forms wonderful bonds with the people he knows and trusts. He may be cautious when meeting new people, but with time and a gentle, low-pressure approach, his affectionate side begins to shine.

Ziggy is looking for a calm, adult-only home with a predictable routine where he can truly relax. He loves spending time in the garden, so a secure outdoor space is a must. He enjoys quiet, sniffy walks and will thrive with owners who are happy to avoid busy areas while continuing to build his confidence through positive, reward-based training.

He would like to be the only dog in the home, allowing him the space to settle at his own pace, although he may be able to live with a dog-confident cat pending careful introductions. Ziggy can find change and new situations overwhelming, so he is looking for owners who are around for much of the day initially and can gradually help him adjust to time alone.

Ziggy is currently receiving medication to help manage his anxiety, and he is looking for adopters who are committed to continuing this alongside the guidance and ongoing support of our Behaviour Team. He will also benefit from owners who are happy to continue building his confidence with handling, grooming and vet visits at a pace that suits him.

For the right family, Ziggy will make a wonderfully loyal companion. With patience, understanding and a quiet home, this gentle boy has so much love to give and will reward his new family with trust, companionship and plenty of special moments.
